I believe this coin was made to look like a Spanish 10 shield coin. It was originally gold plated and found on a 19th century site. It's holed for a necklace and a bit of the gold still exists on the coin.

What you MAY have ... Repeat MAY have is some sort of "proclamation coin"... or commemorative medalish type.

Are there scratches on the reverse ? ?

There do appear to be scratches on the reverse. I attached additional photos of the reverse that show the gold plating. That photo shows some scratches that weren't from digging the coin up.
