I found my first and second star note within two weeks of each other, both $100. The first one was crisp and i sold it on ebay for $120 :icon_thumleft:

The one i just found now is in much rougher shape but it is a star AND has a very low serial number of BB 00006708 * B2 1999 series. It has a pen mark on it and some kind of blue stamp. I'm wondering if it still has any value left or should I just spend it?

It was a large run so for star standards its nothing special, the low serial could fetch you a premium. The blue stamp is a foriegn govts stamp but the black mark on the back is meaningless and detracts from the value I would think.

the black line is from when the bill straping place (loomis, brinks fed's whatever) put them in the straps, the stamp each paper strap w/ a date or the company name etc., and almost every strap i see, the stamp misses a little bit and gets on the top bill(s)...i would still keep it though because of it being such a low number! keep it up and hh!

The blue mark could also indicate a specific recipient of the bill has tested it for anthenticity, then marked it accordingly--similar to Chinese chop marks on coins.
Don....
