First of all, that is a gorgeous ring!
Judging by the style of the ring, the era looks to be turn of the century to the mid 1920's. The diamonds could be 'mine' cut or 'round brilliant cut' since the round brilliant cut was not invented until around 1919, and it probably took some time for diamond cutters to purchase the correct equipment to perform 'brilliant cuts.'
To accurately appraise your ring, you'll have to take it to a certified gemologist, not just Joe Blow who works at a jewelry store. The last vintage diamond ring I had appraised (written appraisal) cost me $35.00, plus $15.00 for cleaning/polishing, and it was well worth the money. Depending on your city/town, the price could range up to $50.00-$100.00 for the appraisal.
Again, super NICE ring! ;D Breezie

My daughter-in-law inherited a ring from her grandmother who in turn inherited it from her grandmother who was quite wealthy back before the stock market crash. It looks eerily similar to yours and hers appraised to between 12 and 14 thousand. My son had a very similar copy in cubic zirconian made for around $600 when they got married, and put the original one in a safe deposit box and insured it. He insured it for 20 thou and will pass it on to their daughter who is one now. But I really don't have all the details and have no experience at pricing diamonds. Good luck. Monty
