$100 Gold-colored Denomination Coin Recovered!!!

Visited a local park in Torrance, California and recovered a $100MX peso brass coin valued at $9.00US (Currency Rate).
Managed a 36-s, 37-s wheat as well as 31 other coins in 2 hours. I love it when the earth cuts like butter. That's some easy diggin'!

Sorry to break the bad news to you but that 100 peso coin has been recindered. No cash exchange or mexican bank will take them any more. I tried to spend mine in Cancun and no body would take them. Sorry.

That is true.....I've found several mexican coins that are out of circulation. These are the coins I've found.

Ya never know though...sometimes they can be worth something as a collectible....certainly if they are silver they will be worth the value of the silver in them.

Neat find though...

Yeah, unlike old coins here they no longer use 'that' peso, so it may be worth a few cents, a buddy found one last weekend, with the nice reeded edge he thought at first he had a gold coin... Wonder if that is going to happen here... :P
