i sure would love to go though ! the minelab is in the corner where i can see it saying (come on lets get out there) but the heat has wore me out today :-\ doozis i think you guy's need rain as much as we do and cooler temps !

Yep , its been a very long hot dry summer here in the Shenandoah
Valley , the worst in years :P , but it won't last much longer , I sure
will love seein them leaves turnin color ;)

It was 38 degrees here this morning when I got off work at 06:30,it's 58 degrees outside right now.Perfect for detecting.I did detect one day that was 103 degrees, not much humidity though.Found 109 coins,10 were silver and 2 silver rings. That was my best day so far this summer.

It has cooled down to 90 here, but the humidity is at 75%, so if you step outside for even a few, ya start pouring sweat, and the ground is hard as a rock, but down below it's like powder here also...I want some rain and cool, crisp fall weather

I'd be happy to take some of that heat off of your hands in exchange for some of these TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS we've been having here in the midwest. Just think, in a couple of months, we'll be complaining of bitter cold and snow keeping us in. Good luck and happy hunting!
