Just looking to see if it's worth the drive. Anyone else?

nope, not me

Yeah, I would. I would drive the four cylinder truck for the better fuel mileage. I got 7 Whites detectors and they all have their place here in Colorado. Worth about 350 on ebayz site.

Short answer, no.

Long answer, he did not even put it together correctly.

3.5 hours total? If you have the time to burn and a fuel efficient car, offer him $75 and see if he bites.

One of the original good detectors, still got one, still use it sometimes still find anything anyone else could find. Fairly heavy is its only downfall.

in the blink of an eye.grab it.the xlt is the machine all others tried to copy.and it still holds its own with the best new ones.350 machine easy.

If you're going to save approximately $200. and you are familiar with the whites machine,, I'd say, "Go for it"

It's a bargain, if: it's not damaged, screen must work, batteries were not left in the machine for years, it was never submerged esp in salt water and so on. I rather buy a used whites from a whites dealer, the next option is actually inspecting and testing out said machine. 3 and 1/2 hour drive for an excellent machine but with questionable condition, hmmm, it's a gamble, I'd probably wouldn't because it's too far for not sure. Bring a friend in case it's a scam or a trap if it's craigslist.

3.5 one way. I am not familiar with whites. That's the only thing that might hold me back.
Sounds like a deal. MZ said it was put together Wrong? Been saving for a Garrett AT Pro but this sounded worth it.

The upper rod in front of the box needs to be rotated 180. No biggie. Loosen the lock collars and spin the rod

Hi Tom, Upstate New York here to between Rochester and buffalo love to chat you seem to have lots of equipment. like to know what your favorite is I'm thinking about an AT Pro. I'm just looking for an all-around good machine that I can use in any condition.

I can’t vouch for the value, but I use an XLT for relic hunting and it has been great! I did not have as much luck at the beach with it, getting lots of interference from wet sand. I am waiting to see how folks like the Equinox in the next month and my get that, but will also keep the XLT. As noted, the assembly of this one isn’t quite right, suggesting that the seller is not too familiar with it...So maybe it was barely used![emoji6]

3.5 hours ? no ! 30 Minutes, I'd think about it. I Know people who used Spectrums
with great enjoyment.

yesterday I wished this was a bit Closer

but 26 Mile (45 Minutes) to spend $45 spites me. Even for the Laugh.
$20.00/15min, I'd Run.
