Detector(s) used
Whites and Garrett. I use several machines, the ace 350 is a nice machine. I have a 5900, 6000, whites.
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
I have been detecting this old site of an old tavern, 1870s time frame. This site is have gone dew to the highway was widened many years back. The field behind the old tavern location has given up some nice finds over the years. I use three different machines, the Whites 5900 I have had it for 14 years or so, it always has given me some nice finds. As I am learning how to set it up after all these years, I thought there was something wrong with the detector. It would not make a sound, I thought maybe it was dropped by my wife, wrong, as I am learning in the setting I have it in, the detector is in all metal, it ignores most iron nails, it sounds off on solid iron as the good targets like these I found tonight. This old site has lots of iron buried, I thought I had found it all, well the detector has really proved to be an excellent relic hunter. The brass item that is broken, I think it is off a trade musket, this site keeps on giving. Sorry about the double picture. IMG_2606.JPGIMG_2606.JPGIMG_2607.JPGIMG_2608.JPG
