10-year-old newbie first time out🤯!!!

My son and I went detecting for about two 1/2 hours today. High wind, but sunny still cold.
This was his first time metal detecting with his very own new Detector Nox 900! His arm got sore from swinging and Digging.so we stopped detecting and went for lunch after we came home and checked out the spoils to my shock and awe he had killed it!! here is what we got! But the best thing was when he said he loved me!
His score… one Rosie silver, a standing liberty quarter and what I think is a copper large scent!
Me lots of clad and two silver Roosevelts🥴

Thank you! it is a great hobby indeed getting outside exercising finding treasure can’t be beat. also teaching him respect filling in holes and taking out trash that he can carry safely.
Learning so much about the history of coins!

Sand swinger talked about the Xterra and that will most likely be my next MD for my daughter now because she wants to start detecting she likes the jewelry and the silver rings. I bring home and clean with electrolysis!
Oh yeah, because no one gets my gold rings only my wife gets to steal them from me😭

Thanks it was perfect conditions The targets were there and he was successful. Keeps him interested in wanting to hunt more with dad.!
