$10 Pull Tab????

First time I have ever dug one of these. It says "Right Half $10--" Ever see such a pull tab? What does it mean?

First one I've ever seen like it. It may have been some kind of contest where if you get the left and right pull tab for that amount you win? Your pull tab is cooler than mine....lol

well, i'm no math wiz but let's see right 1/2 of ten carry the 9 uuuugh thats a $5 pull tab !!!! a lot better than the ones i've been digging.

If I remember right they were pepsi pulltabs.
If you got the matching right and left half you could take them to the store for whatever the amount was.
I think there were also instant win ones.

Coke ran a contest like this in the late 70's which predated the twist off cap contests of today. Brought back memories of childhood looking for that dang left side.
