Along with Jims jersey copper and 2 2 reales all way back to 1708. Most of my coppers are toasted but I will tell you this is one super old erea that we have found. Well lets just c what else might pop out of field. HH Mark

Should start calling you the copper king. I'm gonna try hard to get at least one more out of there. Maybe some more spanish too. ;D

Old area indeed. Some nice finds but probably just the tip of the iceberg. Congrats!

If I was hunting there I'd be thinking button even more than coin.

Nice finds Chark!

Digginthepast, I have heard that phrase on here before "probably just the tip of the ICEBERG" and it was a Holy Grail spot, hope this one turns out the same!

That is a site you will never forget! Active 18th century occupation for many years! Gotta love it!

How many buttons are you digging?

Kyle we have only dug a handful of buttons here. Marks got a bunch of blowhole buttons but nothing military yet. Also 2 spanish silver. More coppers than buttons. Now thats a great ratio! :headbang:

Wow.... That field is going to turn up something great.
