I received change back ,as I cashed in a 100 dollar bill for gas this morning. All of the serial numbers are identical, except for the last 3 digits, which are 802 through 811. Are they worth anything besides face value as a set ,or is this common ?
They are worth $5 each. They are brand new bills and when they are shipped to where-ever store they are going too they come out like this in serial numbers!
Well, I guess ill put them in the gas tank this morning to go detecting . They are dated 2009. It took four and a half years to get into circulation ? I find that interesting .
Atms often give consecutive $20s.
I thought I got a sheet of 5 uncut ones with identical #s.
the way they are cut leaves the same last digits,
found out they were distrubted by the mint as educational sets, worth a bit over face.
