Hi,
This last week has been a mad rush looking for coins with several trips out of town to search,last Thursday I found 111 coins, friday 85,saturday 11(in town) Sunday 106,Monday 154 (including silver ring #51 for the year a CTR),Tuesday 30 (in town) and yesterday 151. These totals along with ones earlier in the month pushed me over the 10,000 mark for the year and then some. Coin #10,000 was a 2004-d dime. I stand at 10,149. Here is what I have found so far;
One cent; 4155(74 wheats)
Nickels; 556, oldest 1900
Dimes; 2535,(9 silver)
Quarters; 2832,(2 silver),1010 were states quarters.
Halves; 5, 2 silver including a 1968-d last thursday
Dollars; 16
Five dollar bill; 1
Foreign coins; 25 including a circa 1700 chinese marriage coin
Tokens; 34
Keys; 45
Silver rings; 51
Other rings; 36
Other keepable items; 179, including 2 I pods, several medals and necklaces.
10,149 coins, yet the month and the year are far from over, good hunting, kane 23

Trying to find as many as I can, kane 23

10,000 !!!! Now that IS interesting. It don't matter if they're stinkin' Lincolns or all quarters 10,000 before a year is up is a very impressive total. Who was the lucky one to get to count all of them you or the wife LOL? I know...we ALL keep our own total count but unfortunately I was never real good at math and numbers myself so I just throw them in a bucket. (Nowhere near a thousand probably.)

IF you still have all the coins from this year around is it possible to get a photo of the loot? Congratulations on your outstanding total of coins. That's alot of work there.

Great job Kane, you were right this place is hunted out but I don't know who is doing it. I have not seen anyone around. Myself I have found 8 wheats, a lund token cant find anything about it & a old ink bottle.

You are quite the digger, Kane. If every one of those finds were 1 cent you would still have done well. But that's not the case. Go buy yourself a new detector :laughing7:

wow, awesome accomplishment!!!!!!!!! If you turn all that clad in you'll have enough gas money to go on a detecting trip across the whole country....:) hh

kane awsome I just started my count on tues of this week . My priz IV is going to find at least 10,000 next year . You can put in the books congrats UNDERDOGGER AKA ROB. :coffee2: :headbang:

wow, do u detect for hours a day?
Thats a lot of digging and great logging of data.
Imagine if u hit the beach and got numbers like that, how much would be rings.....
nice job

J rich, I keep a log of everything I find, I also keep track under my profile here at treasure net. I count them, the wife certainly does'nt. Every week I roll up the coins I find and trade them for cash or spend them,so no, no picture. if you want to see some of the rings I've found then go to the best finds of and look for "some rings from Kane 23". I average 10 to 15 hours most weeks.
I found another 25 coins yesterday and silver ring #52 for the year,so things continue. Thanks everyone, kane 23
