this is my 2nd 1800s coin in february! and my 2nd 1800s coin in my life! found with e-trac in southern california orange groves.
I found over 500 dollars in clad in 9 months and a few silvers in 2008 but never found a indian! two in 1 month! I dont understand it?
I dont hunt parks much anymore. that may be why? mostly vacant fields, forest, orangegroves. photos are from todays hunt.

nice job.. just a thought for you.. try and locate some old maps from the 1800's and see if there was a house at one time on the orange grove.

I absolutely love finding IHC's, when I first got my E-Trac I did not find any for a few months, but I was finding deep silver. Now this is for me personally but I came to find out I did not know an IHC signal, once I found out what their signal looked and sounded like thanks to another E-Trac user in my area I started finding them daily. Great finds and HH!

My thoughts exactly maybe a house for the overseer of the property and one for the workers then you be in the older coins... Awsome finds :icon_thumright:

Very cool finds! I dug the same pocket watch this last fall, along with it's fob. I bet you were pretty excited when that turned up! (That and the Indian Head cent!) Great job! :icon_thumright:
