I had about an hour to hunt before work today and went to a place where i knew i could pick up some clad quick and had the possibility of an older coin. Its a reunion ground that has been used for about 100 years. It is always a good place to go for a quick fix when I don't have time for a longer hunt and I can usually throw ten to twenty coins in my pouch in an hour there. I ended up right in that ballpark with 15 coins, but the first coin of the day at 2 inches made my day. It was the 1914 D Barber, a nice full liberty coin. All the rest of the coins were common newer stuff. Thursday I will be able to do a long hunt so hopefully I have something good to post. Happy Hunting!!

Great looking Barber. Did you just rinse it and if possible can we see a reverse shot of it?

It appears that the rim is in full, indents are all accounted for and you can still make out part of "Liberty". That coin if uncleaned
is worth some quality fiat money.

Don't clean it with chemicals if you haven't yet, just rinse with tap water or maybe soak in olive oil over night.

Barber Half, Quarters and Dimes, IMO are the most classiest coin ever minted. You defintely have a keeper there.
Congrats on a great find.

If you got lucky and had an "S" mint on that coin in F condition is goes for $13.80 the other mints are 8 and change. If in XF
condition, the "S" goes for $34 to $35 dollars while the other mints are in the mid $20.00.
