I went out today for a short 1 hour hunt at my local tot lot, its a rainy morning here in Baltimore. Zinc pennies and clad seem to be the usual, like most of time. But then i get a low tone, thinking oh another piece of foil, or if I'm lucky a nickel. This eating pops up, I'm thinking if it was white gold, it would not have picked it up, I check it for any marks and I see its stamped 925, Sterling not bad. I also found that pendant with the bird, its a bronze movie theme pendant. Also found my first all plastic ring. Then i get a high tone and its a Penny, it looks like its been cut intentionally, or maybe just got caught in a lawn mower, who knows. I didn't even check the dates on pennies until i get home, was not expecting anything old in a modern tot lot. As I'm checking the finds at home its 1918 wheat cent with major missing parts problem.
