Hey everyone, i havnt been detecting much i have been busy with work and just havnt been able to get out much. I work with my family on our farm and we finished up early today. A hunting buddy of mine (kevin11) told me he had got permission to hunt an old homesite here in our town. I knew the site looked good, and it had recently been auctioned and some work on the ground was being done. So after work i didnt have much time because i had a poker tournament to play in tonight but i met with my hunting partner Kevin11. I wasnt at the site 10 minutes and i had dug a funny signal which ended up being a nail and some piece of lead when i got a 25 cent 50 cent signal on my Ace 250. I cut the plug and moved away the dirt and thats when i seen the silver disc shape laying there. I picked it up and could see it was my first Silver quarter an 1875 Seated quarter at that, this is also my first seated coin. I dropped my detector and practically ran over to Kevin. I was so excited i was shaking lol. This is my oldest silver i have found to date, and it will be a coin im sure i will never forget. Not 10 minutes after i dug the coin my ride showed up, it turned out we had to leave even earlier then we had planned. I have the day off tomorrow and im hoping to meet up with Kevin and pound the site! The scans really dont do this coin justice, its not in the best shape but it looks a ton better in the hand then the scans. Especially the reverse. Hope everyone is doing well best of luck and HH

Seated is something I need to find as well; you're now one up. And not a dime, but a quarter. Great for you! There's more out there for you.
