Got these at a great price, one is definitely silver but the other two I question. I don't have way to test and was wondering if the one in the center might be gold. The only marking on it is France, its not shiny like gold, a bit dull but the quality is no nice. What do you think? Thanks.

It is possible that the piece in question is Gold but Gold of low purity (i.e. 6kt, 8kt, etc.) and more Copper for strength and durability. Test an area that will not show or can be easily polished out.

In the first pic you can see the plating has worn off the edge areas and a copper looking material shows through. I'd think it's plated in gold only. Have to test to know for sure. It is pretty.

They look like crucifixes that came off of rosaries. For $1.49 I would have bought them too, especially if it was for the 5 pieces. I see your dog wants in on the action! lol

The one with the backside shown looks like it's copper with a worn off gold wash as I can still see the guild still in the rivet area. Some do look like they could be sterling? Nice find for pocket change. I've been saving the sterling ones so I can put together a charm like bracelet to sell it that way. A lady in the thrift store told me that's what she was doing with the silver religious pieces she finds coming in. She simply gave me a great idea. I've got maybe 6 or 7 silver ones now. I hope to build an all sterling charm bracelet worth a bunch more then I paid in the pieces I find. Most I find that are solid silver are marked and the plated have an old look satin silver plate finish on them.
