Quick lunch hunt at a local park. I found this silver ladle about 8 inches down beside the curb. Test good for silver and is marked R. Jaccard & CO Thanks for looking!

Coin Silver is a term for items made from Melted Silver Coins. From what I've read, it was used mostly from 1847 to 188? to distinguish between silver and plated silver, Silver Plating became popular around 1847.
