What a gorgeous detecting day for the start of July. @#$%& >:( I was behind my desk for most of it, with an obligation at 6:00 pm, which means I did not get out detecting until 7:00 pm! But it was worth the wait! ;D

A short hour and a half hunt in a park yielded these goodies. Started off with the 1936 mercury dime, followed by the cool HEAVY sterling ID bracelet. Robert was probably in big trouble with Dotty when he lost it! :o Next came the 1918D half, then it was quiet for a while until the 1902 Barber quarter showed up! I kept thinking I was going to dig a silver Roosevelt dime, and then I got it, 1953D. Kept gridding the area and surprise! 1935 quarter. Kept at it for a while longer, but I had exhausted the hot spot. This was the same area that had given up a WL half a few years ago and I had not been back to it with a Minelab yet. A few pieces of clad, not much, and wheats. I love days like this. :hello2:

Really nice hunt. I am still waiting for my first silver coin.

Wow, I would have been thrilled with just the bracelet.

A half and two quarters. Yikes, reminds me of the 80's when finds like that were common. To do it today is quite a feat.

Nice pile of silver you got there.

Congrats,

Great finds! Looks like the wait was well worth it!

Would love to find that much silver in one area in one day! :icon_scratch:

Thanks for posting,

HH,

Dave

Nice!
Any one of those finds by themselves is great, let alone all of them in one night.

Nice batch of the good stuff Nick.

I too have been stuck working on most of these sweet, cool days.

You were justly rewarded for waiting though :icon_thumleft:

Awesome finds :icon_thumleft:

Wow! That would be a good MONTH for me! Never had one hunt with that much silver.
