61 degrees and I had to go play, after months of trying to get it together I finally have a new hp computer but it would not support my Fuji camera even though Fuji says all of its cameras are windows 8 compliant. I tried everything I could think of but no use. finally I found a sale on canon t3i cameras and I even found a used ikelite underwater housing cheap. so here goes. only 3 old items a red brick, deck spike, and a brass lifting eye(this was used to load the ships longboat aboard and tie up to a dock). 11 golf balls(there was 12 but it was jammed under a huge rock), a sailboats sail ropes with stainless steel fittings, fishing lure,1.5 lbs of sinkers,a keel piece to the fish tug, lots of aluminum junk, iron trash,a pvc pipe reducer, half a fishing rod,a pair of gloves, and a few bullets.

Everytime we go to the beach on vacation in the summer I never bring my machine for some reason then I will end up seeing some guy on the beach detecting it 8-) will go up and talk to the guy and tell him I MD too but mostly civil war and colonial stuff but I have rarely ever beach hunted before then they will normally tell me stories of all the gold rings and money they have found. Most beach MD have never hunted civil war relics before so its hard to even tell them about you're great finds and then you feel like a noob cause there telling you about all there gold rings and coins they have dug up on the beaches almost making you feel like you should be the one doing it :laughing7: I def gotta try hitting beaches up more but gotta drive 2 hours to go see one. :occasion14:

Many finds! The lead weights can add up. Divers melt them for weight belts. Im saving mine for that reason. Keep up with the posts and pictures! Great job

I've always enjoyed your posts and determination to find some Treasure through all the Trash. GodBless

thanks all, I am happy just getting some old colonial relics and the occasional goody. I do need to figure out how to crop photo's because ebay says mine are too big. can anyone help, I tried using image resizer but it says my photo is corrupted.
