Yesterdays finds. I know what the tiny one is, but the big sucker has me a bit baffled.
I did a quick and dirty specific gravity test. Warning math below
Dry weight = 60.1 grams
Cup weight = 9.9 grams
Displaced water and cup weight = 15.7 grams
Displaced water weight = 5.8 grams
SG = Dry weight / Displaced water weight = 60.1 / 5.8 = 10.36
I'm thinking I got a hunk of lead, but I have not seen lead look like this. It seems to have a crystalline structure to it. Any thoughts??
It is not magnetic and won't scratch with a fingernail, but will scratch with steal.
