The weather was an unseasonable 60 degrees here today, so after fixing the truck, headed out for a shorty hunt. Went to a place on the army base that was used in the 50's and hunted to death. Of the 54 cents, one coin was a 1934 wheatie and one dime was this 1953 D. The rest of course, clad. Hope to get back there again; something about so called hunted out places...I love em.

Nice! There's always a certain satisfaction you get when you score at a hunted hard site. HH

If you could average 1 silver a day, That would be a nice collection at the end of the year. Heck, I would settle for one a month, HH Art...

Congrats on the silver R! I'll be in Schweinfurt next week and will be moving there also with my job soon so while there next week I'm going to check out the youth center across from the commissary. There is a grassy field behind it I'll try to detect. The front portion is built up into parking lots and businesses. The entrance to the Commissary area is under construction as I type, hope to detect a few of those dirt piles but there is a lot of fencing around it. HH, Mike
