An 1,000-year-old Viking ring which was found by a metal detectorist in the Thaxted area is now on display at the Saffron Walden Museum.
The man’s ring, which was found and reported under the Treasure Act in 2013, is now available to view and will also be featured as the ‘Object of the Month’ on the museum’s website.
