Hey, whats that first coin in front of the nickels?

Sorry, I sometimes forget that not everyone lives close to Canada or isn't familiar with their currency. They are so common place here where I live we don't give it a second thought. Anyways here is a pic with explanation. If anyone needs pics of other Canadian coinage please feel free to ask.
