'06 First Finds
of these items. '07 will bring more...a new hunting area, cause the cousin says hunting season is just beginning here for us.
We went to a new area that is being developed for a sub...I understand it's the 2nd highest point up from the lake. Everything has been bulldozed, so easy findings. Henry says there was a old house there once upon a time, and where we were finding all the broken glass had to have been the trash pile.
I found a half pint milk bottle, a old coke bottle and what you see in the pics. Gosh, the marbles...we were having a field day. No MDing, just looking...Henry found 2 1942 pennies just lying on top of the ground. This area is huge and is located next to a river. So from Indian artifacts to 50's? Oh, Lilly of the Valley were blooming (global warming...they mostly bloom in March) were all bulldozed around, some areas just the bulbs on top of the ground. I collected quite a few bulbs to plant at my house.
I'll try to remember to take my new digital camera on the next trip...planning on hunting tomorrow.
