I know you guys don't like looking at clad, but it helps pay the bills or a new detector. I don't frequent areas with possible silver, but then you never know. Most all of this came from a small City tot lot this morning. I'm going back.

it adds up. back around 1989 I paid for a brand new detector by cashing in nearly 30,000 pennies I had saved from change

I have no issue with spendable money at all. I paid for my Garrett carrot with dug clad.

I donate mine to my club for our Christmas charity donation, not really sure who that might be, maybe beer for the beerless

I'm currently beerless, where do I sign up for this assistance?

I have leftover bud lite from vacation I can send you, still cold

15 years digging CW relics, then 30 years digging old coins, now all I go for is the ever present clad.

I like looking at clad. I don’t dig much of any coinage. And you have quite a bit there. Kudos!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I've made several trips to the casinos to gamble my clad- it adds up.

Just cashed in 2 seasons worth of dug change 202.64$ :treasurechest:

Although most of us do like to find old coins or silver, clad does add up also, and I don't know to many detectorists who will throw it back after digging it. I tumble mine at the end of each year, and go buy silver (if the price is low enough).

It can add up without a doubt, as does scrap metal. Still we aren't even making minimum wage, but at least we're not working - technically :tongue3:

Here is two years worth of scrap I just cashed in.

Here is 30 years worth of modern coins and clad (minus the quarters I spent on laundry years ago). I don't need the money, so I just throw the coins in a plastic container. Oldest ones would be 1909 Lincolns. And this from a guy that spends most of his time on sites Civil War and earlier.

I have not counted my clad in 4 years... but it's also scattered all over the place. Maybe I should find it all and count it lol.

Well done, congrats! :occasion14:

Thats a lot of clad! I'm trying to convince myself that when I should upgrade my detector I should do it only with clad... it's gonna be a while.
