My 1st silver of 2023 was a 1890 O Morgan Dollar!
I’m still in shock and can’t believe I actually found one. It was on my bucket list ever since I started metal detecting almost 3 years ago.
Found with the Legend using the 6” coil in heavy iron.
Never found a Morgan silver dollar metal detecting but used to buy them on eBay for collecting purposes.
Man do they ever feel heavy and good in your hand. Makes you think, I have some real money here.
Glorious coin!
Check out my Silver dollar video.

Hey guys, here is a quick lunch time score when I stopped off at a bank on the way back to work. The nice teller had remembered my constant inquiries for "old coins" from past visits to her branch, and finally had something nice saved up for me!
1922 P and 1922 S Peace Dollars
I love scoring...

Hello all! I have the next three days to metal detect, and I want to make the most out of my ventures. My primary goal: a peace dollar (1935 preferred -- about to explain). My grandmother gave my mom a peace silver dollar when she was young, one that was minted the year of the former's birth...
