sanforized

Hello Everyone, After looking through the forum and finding so many knowleable folks, decided to join. I can see myself spending hours on here... I would like to request help on the ID for a button I recently found. Lots of searching and no results. Location is north Dallas, old farm lands...

I dug this "Sanforized" button today in the backyard of a home built in the mid 1940's; however, prior to that the land was a farm dating back to the turn of the century. Does anyone know what general time frame this script style is from? Also, would this have been on overalls or could it have...
