  1. 🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Chert?

    Hi everyone - is this a large chunk of chert? Outside natural surface has orange and worn smooth - found in coastal Brunswick County NC. Possibly large cleaves for tooling? Might post in artifact forum based on response. Thank you!

  2. 🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Ship Wreck Drift wood

    I found this piece of drift wood on the beach in Bald Head Island, NC just after Hurricane Ian passed. I assume it's off an old wreck. The nail appears to be hand forged bronze. Any ideas about age or origin?

    Hi, I just bought the Garrett AT Max. Will you guys let me know from your experience, or even from just reading or hearing others speak of which are the best beaches from “More likely” to “Less likely” to find treasures? Thanks
