Went back to the 1830s farm site for a couple hours this afternoon and found some more flat buttons. The largest one I found is a match to three others I have found there in the past. I also found another round ball. I lost one of the flat buttons I found so I guess I'll have to go back again...
We managed a few hours out today, a nice surprise, what I assumed was a dog I’d tag, turns out to be a 1875 Queen Victoria! Part of a crotal ball, pot leg and possible metal pot? a clip (?) the usual lead and of course buttons. A weird piece of glass and another metal mushroom! A cracking...
Spent a full day wandering the field where himself found the Dirk last week, obviously I was hoping to find my own… alas this was not the case, but we got an amazing haul of my kinda treasure…. buttons by the score, a weird thing with a ship on it, the cutest miniature buckle still with its pin...
A perfect day spent walking in the sun produced these lovely items… no hammered, but happy to save these. Not sure if that’s a coat of arms on the metal pendant? And more of the little lead pieces... we now have 7 of them. Any IDs as ever much appreciated. x
We went back to the same field as yesterday but decided to start from the other side… best decision eva!!

I've done some research myself, and I think it's a roman lead seal/ring. But I would need some experts help from here.
