Got my metal detector last week - a newbie. Uncle next door has found hundreds of civil war and colonial relics / coins. Found this round metal piece in the woods. Appears to be carved... Or maybe not? Any thoughts?
I found an old car battery that had been taken apart and the grates were pure silver nothing an old torch couldn't handle I made 270$ off of silver from it and you could too remember those heavy grates or slats that you brushed off as an old car battery could be worth some real cash
I hunted my aunt's and uncle's old farm house this weekend. Not much was found except for junk. I did manage to find two harmonica reeds however. A U.M.C. CO. No. 10 shot gun shell was found also. Only wheat was a 1954 D, and 40 cents total. Missed silver by one year on the quarter:sadsmiley...
