Can you help identify if this is a fossil? I'm a newbie (to rocks) and can trade my knowledge of coin varieties (?) - Shelly Certain

I found this beautiful specimen on the banks of the York in Virginia! I’ve only been doing this for a little over a year and I’ve found a lot of shark teeth and fossils. BUT, this is definitely my favorite find so far. I’ll be back out there fossil hunting tomorrow!

Hello, I am new here so if I make a mistake give me a heads up. I found this about a week ago. On the beach, in the ocean. Someone suggested, that it may be a fossilized tooth. They suspected, it was from the miocene epoch. They said it was from a three-toed horse. I know absolutely nothing...
