I've dug what I believe is a solid brass watch fob. The only info I've found is that the uniforms seem to match the Navy Sailors during the 1898 Spanish-American War. It cleaned up super well. Is it a military service item or just a commemorative piece? Any background about it will be...

Not sure if this is a fob or something? It appears to be made of either a very thin brass or copper and is very light. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Found a cool Flood & Conklin varnish can shaped fob and 6 wheats 1927,30-D,37,45-S,44,52-S. Finally got someone home at this early 1900's house I've been checking for a month. Thought there might be a little silver,oh well. Still a nice evening of detecting.

I found this little watch fob today, and a really neat sad iron trivet that is soaking. The back says Martin & Martin Chicago. I saw a simmilar fob on ebay, but have not been able to figure out what Martin & Marin sold or what the club was for.
