flag pole holder

had this posted on todays finds...no hits...so wondering if i am correct on identification...1000 words.....before clean 2'' & 3/8 long 1'' & 1/2 inside diameterit came out of the ground this way in pieces after clean...notice the grooves... and there you have it,any info ?
