I have a 1970 Lincoln Penny D mint penny. It has deep scratches on the reverse. I am not sure if that is a mint or circulation error? O read the 1970 was a saught after coin?
Found these today while going through some stuff for my grandparents. The 1849 coin is missing the 1 and the other had a foreign object that pushed through the coin when it was stamped. Thoughts on what might have caused either.
Thanks

Found part of an old toy gun from the '50's and this clipped 1970 penny all in one hunt! What are the chances of finding a clipped coin metal detecting I wonder? I've found over 500 pennies and this is the only error (that I know of) I've found so far.
Going through my wheat pennies today and noticed this pretty major error. Not to familiar with this stuff... what do you think? any value here? Any info? ... Thanks....... also found this other one that looks like a possible double die.. the 4 and obviously the 3 is off... maybe the S...? Are...
In 1966 I found this double stamped 1966 Lincoln cent. The stampings are outdented, so I don't think another kid made it in a garage.
I spent a few hours looking online and found nothing like it.
A few times I've taken it to coin dealers. Responses went from "it's not worth anything", to "I...

Hello again! I was doing some more rummaging through old coins in my house, when I came across this beauty of a coin! It's in amazing condition considering
its age! my only concern is that the "D" mint mark seems a bit crooked (diagonal). This is either a small error, or my overly dramatic OCD...
I was digging through some old coins in my house, when I came across this piece of work! From the looks of this coin it literally looks like a deformed coin. Now I want to know if it was done by the mint or by some deranged citizen. Also, if indeed it was mutilated by the mint, how much money...
I found these in my change and figured it would make a good first post in a long time. If either of these are mint errors what value if any would there be?
Zinc penny in one loose roll worth $120 or as much 4 or 5 oz of silver!
I found this coin a few months ago but never had time to post it on Treasurenet, and I wanted try to scan it, but never got any quality scans from the library's copier
I got only two rolls of cents from the bank, in the...
