art deco

I purchased a lot in an estate sale and this link bracelet was in it. I have no idea what it is and any thoughts would be appreciated.

I cant find anything about this at all if someone could tell me what it is i would be so happy.

I bought this bracelet in a lot purchase at an estate sale. It is marked inside the back clasp 585 which i know stands for 14k and means european or german. It also has AMU which I think means it was tested and confirmed to be 14k or .585 percent gold. Not certain if that means it was tested to...

I don't even have a clue as to how to reference this item. I dug it up today at a farmhouse from the 1920's. It is approximately 6 inches long and about 2.5 inches wide at the top. It looks a little Art Deco in design. It is hollow and looks like it once held something in the top (a mirror?)...
