    I bought this brass casing that had been sold at a scrap yard. Any help on the value would be greatly appreciated.

  2. 1944 penny - Steel AND copper?

    Found this penny. I know that steel pennies stopped in 43, but the year on this one is 44. Is it possible that materials got mixed in the factory or something?

    Unless you're like me and have not found a wheat penny in a month :crybaby2:, you have most likely found quite a few (like 15 since I started in march,Yes not many). Anyway, what is your most common year of wheat penny. Mine is 1956 D, I have found about 5 out of 15 from that year.
