The 1922 wheat cent is a rare coin. It was only made by one mint - the Denver Mint, which produced 7 million of them, all bearing the D mint mark. The Denver Mint also made some 1922 examples which lacked the D mint mark, and these are among the most valued wheat cents that exist.
