This is a maverick which I believe could be attributed to Sheridan Wy, but I don't have any
reference material to do so. Can anyone help? I found it with about a dozen other old
tokens from Sheridan that date back as far as 1892. This one appears to be made out of some kind
of pot metal, is blank on the reverse, and all of the lettering is incuse.

I had thought that I might get a lead on this by going thru old searchable newspapers, but all I came up with
was a US marshal named Carr and a guy by the name of Garth being executed. Any one else have any online
search tools they'd care to share.

Update

After posting this message I discovered an article I must have missed in a 1910 issue the Sheridan Enterprise.
It proves to me that there was a D M Carr in Sheridan in 1910, but I don't know yet if he had an association
with a man named Garth, or the type of business they may have been in. What is my next step. Com'on you
expert sleuth's, help me out.
