More Firsts!! Indian penny! Wheatie's, and a 1920D Merc! Coin Spill!!!

I went out this morning in the rain for a few hours and found my first old coin spill!!! I dug a 1942 wheatie first, filled in the hole went back over it and there was still a signal. So i dug it back out a little bigger and in the plug was a 1902 Indian head penny(my first Indian ever!!), a 1944 wheatie and a 1920D Merc. all stuck together. Also there was a steal penny in the hole, but all it is now is a rusty disc. What a beautiful sight that was to see all those coins in one hole and those silver edges looking back at me. A few feet away was another coin spill with two (1940,1945) wheats in that hole! Walking up toward the house i found one more very worn wheatie (1937). I also found my first thimble.

Nice coin spill!
Does that Merc have a small circle in the center? I've dug several with that same pattern, can't figure out where it comes from.
Maybe the old payphones caused that damage, anyone else seen this before?

Yea it does have a circle right at the ear. I didnt know what that was from either?

Thanks man! I was hoping that the Indian was in better shape, but i am still happy to have found one. i was very surprised to have found the Mercury dime. The variety of coins we are finding are amazing!

4 silvers isn't bad at all so far. I was lucky to get 4 indians in really nice shape...the one I found today isn't even worthy of a coin flip. lol I think it's an 1880, but can't really tell. There's a hard crust on the front and on the back. Guess because it was stuck in between 2 big rocks...not sure. That's also 7 indians from there though. Pretty good spot.

i just recently found a thimble with the same engravings on it but mine is silver nice find.

Is the stealth coin the steal penny? And i'm not sure what a electrolysis bath is? I've heard people talking about it but i don't know what it is?
