Another 7 hours at the farm field, old copper and lots of buttons

Well, I hit the farm field for anther 7 hours, after the first 7 hours yielded a seated half dime. No old silver, but a King George I half penny!! Also a ton of buttons! Also, what appears to be an old mechanical pencil? The metal tested positive for silver.

I'd love some feedback on what you all think the date is on the half penny. I think I see an 8 at the place where the last digit should be. Given the date range for these is 1714-1727, that would make this one a 1718? Does anyone else see it?

Cool, thanks dascrow, I also had a hard time figuring out the logic on what order to upload so that the pictures show in a specific order. It seemed like whether or not I started at the top, or the bottom, they appear in a somewhat mixed up order. Any insite you could provide on this?
