Yep took the wife with me & the treasure Dog. ;D The wife went around snapping shots so thought I'd share a little of Timekiller in action. It was a pretty day here finaly after a week of rain, wind, & cold temps. So I was do for some swinging action. And the wife & dog wanted to go so we had a nice day & burnt some energy. :laughing7: Made a few finds. The spigot valve is a big one to bad didn't find the whole thing.I also think I've got another buckle hideing in the clump of rust. The rest are buckle frags, buttons, pipe peices, arrowhead, musket shot, etc.
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

I have hunted shoreline just like that many times. Doesn't always give up much, but it's a great environment to dig!

What I want to know is how the heck you got 24 pictures on this post? :dontknow:

I have only been able to get 12 on. :icon_scratch:

I always enjoy viewing your threads, Pete. This one was great for pictures and relics. :headbang: Your dog is awesome! :laughing7: You definitely have the most beautiful of sites to hunt. :icon_thumleft:

Keep the passion high! :hello2:

Pete the pics are great. That's the kind of place that makes you want to dive right in. Looks to have been a very busy place. Nice variety of finds. Arty

ive often wondered what kind of terrain you pull that super old stuff out of.... was that a settlement there or just a place where settlers got in and out of boats..... i always enjoy your posts...

Hope you keep that pooch well fed...Looks like a trained killer from Swansboro to me! :icon_thumleft:

Cheers, DR

Beautiful day, pulling history from the shore before it rusts away!

Thanks bootyhoundpa,
It was both.In my opinion as there are places that show signs of blacksmith work with old slag & such. And no doubt that small shallow boats were used here as a port.I oyster some in this area & know of balast rock dump sites all in the area so cargo was being moved from here.
