Found an old homesite.

Was turned into a two eye button. And a piece of
Silver, looks like a heraldic eagle ??

Those flat buttons look like late 1700's. Reminds me about a similar site I had that produced lots of flat buttons and eventually started digging colonial coppers and a few early American coins. Please don't give up, keep at it. Nice stuff:icon_thumright:

Productive in the flat button division that's for sure, any of them any maker marks on the backs?
Now the little silver looking eagle (is it?) now that's different looking find. Wonder if anyone will be able to ID what it came off/cut out/part of? Very cool little piece! Well done.:icon_thumright:

The only button with a backmark is US great coat button, the backmark reads “ United States “
Still searching for info on the silver piece
