Since the weather hasn't completely frozen me out of my walks, I snuck in one more.

Didn't expect a lot. It was cold, windy. But I'd dressed for it and managed to fight for almost 4 hours! ( whew! )



December? Two days before New Year's Eve?
Not too shabby! Even if I do say so my own self!



Yep....even found a ring!



Silver too!



Looks kind of old and the way it was constructed? Might be a legitimate stone.



Amethyst?

All in all...a fairly decent end to the year. *IF* ....I don't sneak in yet another walk!

Great finds! I won't be out hunting until Spring now, myself. Supposed to snow here in northeastern Oregon for the next week. No large dumps forecast, but regular storms and flurries.

Doesn't take much open ground, to yield good stuff..., well, SOMETHING, at least...!
I live very close to our city park, so do majority of my hunting there..., yet I have several more
permissions in town, so that you can usually find me prowling around, looking for some of that hard-to-find,
open (and unfrozen?) ground...!
