It was a cornfield and I truly don't expect much in them. Pretty close to right today.



Clad, few coins, strange metal object, an eyeball find.



When one flicks the eyeball find, it lights up!

The coins? Nothing special but at least the penny is a double Lincoln.



At least I learned one thing today. I learned where they're *not*!

Four hours of exercise though.

At least you're out digging! Fields can be hit or miss... if I'm not close to an old homesite or something I usually don't find anything at all. But when I DO find a site I find old fields to be EXCELLENT places to hunt as the amount of modern trash is minimal.

Its great you got in a walk in the fields.
Not too shabby on the finds either. Interesting metal piece, kinda ornate. Does it look like it was attached or more of a pull handle of some kind?
The eye ball ring may help you keep an eye on Blingie.
2 Lincolns, & I'll raise ya one.
It all adds up, congrats Sir on a good walk and collection of treasures.
