Went out to an older town near Seattle with Eric (Washingtonian) yesterday. We talked with one of the property owners of several old houses and being a history buff herself, she gave us permission to hit a couple old houses.

At one old house, I got a deep 60s signal on the AT. Neither Eric nor myself were getting a ton of signals, so I decided just to dig it. Boy was that a good choice.

Finding anything pre-1900 in the Pacific Northwest is extremely hard, let alone a civil war artillery button that dates back to the 1850s/1860s. I didn’t realize just how incredible this find was at the time, but it hit me later and I couldn’t stop showing my buddies back home.

Also pulled up 2 rosies, 3 wheats and an Indian. All in all, a great day!!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1582499899.134735.jpg

Is the top left in the last pic also a button...noticed the 13 stars...nice hunt, congrats!

Wow, that has a bunch of gilt still on it. Congrats.

The button with the stars looks like a world war 2 era US fatigue button. My father in law still had his and I remember the buttons on it:icon_thumleft: Paul :coffee2:

Thats a great button and coins permissions seem to pay off well

Excellent save on that button. :hello2: Congrats!
