Had an absolutely INCREDIBLE day today! We hit a small area of shoreline that I have been eyeballing for quite some time, but didnt have the opportunity. Today was the day! First signal was a beautiful Royal Provincials button. Then they came fast and furious!! I couldn't move a foot without digging another button. I had no idea what I had. IronPatch ID'd the Royal Fencible Americans button ...by the time I heard back from him, I had dug 2 more RP's, 2 more RFA's and a Queens Rangers!!! Also got another Rev war Navy and 8 blank pewters, and a possible 33rd Regiment. Needless to say, I wont soon forget that hunt!!!!!

The pictures are probably going to be upside down because I uploaded from my phone. If you click twice on the picture, it should fix it. Thanks guys

Epic haul! You definitely won't ever forget this day, but I bet you'll have others to add to it. It's kinda like the perwter version day of your big 8s find.

I am almost speechless...those are in incredible shape...i have 3 RFA's but not in that shape...congrats bud!!

How do you find such amazing sites to hunt. You made a career worth of finds for the average relic hunter all in one days hunt. Congrats!

That's incredible!
I gotta say that the field finds don't quite compare to the river finds...less ploughs mean better buttons lol
I would continue to "keep my eye on" that stretch of shore
Congrats on a great hunt!

Awesome finds! So, what do you think was at the site? Going back tomorrow?

Thanks guys. I'm still shaking a bit lol. I know there was significant loyalist presence in that area, and it only makes sense for there to be the odd loyalist military button, but this just blew my mind!

You had an amazing hunt! Go back and get the rest of them. The Loyalists were well equipped.

Well I’d call that a BANNER hunt! That’s an incredible day. I have a feeling you’re not done yet. Great job buddy

Awesome haul for a single outing, l would be shaking to after those finds, congratulations on a epic hunt

I agree...of people only knew how rare those RFAs are!!

You have 3, or is it 5 ;) , I have 2, and he has 3. Rare but not that rare. But what's a bigger factor is they didn't actually fight in the war. That's why most are not familiar with them.

I understood not a word of your title lol but freakin cool relics glad you so happy to find those..Looks like a spot I would rip into like a Racoon on a side of beef.. Well done Hope you find alot more relics there. Tommy

That’s an incredible hunt.
Maybe post some close ups pics once
Cleaned up a bit
Congrats

Very cool, I would be gridding that area hard.:occasion14:
I'm not sure I had more than 5 pewter buttons of any type in 1 day!

Thank you for the banner nods! Wow! As far as cleaning them goes, I dont really have the proper stuff to clean them. I need to order a set of Andre's pencils. I admit that I'm too scared to touch them with anything else. The RFAs hold alot of value and the RPs and Queens Rangers are worth a bit too, not to mention the historical value! Once I get them properly cleaned, I'll post some pictures.

Hi, wow awesome finds. Congrats:occasion14:
