Still letting Dad detect & I dig until my arm gets better.

Dad started well with a first signal of a roman coin. Then 2 blank runs, so I said I will do 1 left handed run. I found a stunning bank token produced when they were short of silver. It is silver but represented eighteen pence. I have the old head verson of this token but not this one ;D Plus 1 roman coin. Dad was sick :D

2005 book price in EF (pretty close but a couple of nicks) - £100 ($200).

He finished with some buttons & another roman coin.

Still 4 nights or more work to go until this field is finished. ;)

I LOVE THIS HOBBIE 8)

Its pictured on a large base of a Romano-Celtic Storage Pot (eyes only).

Un-frickin'-believable! You dudes kick butt!

I wonder what I would find my 1st day in England...probably a hoard of Roman coins (100,000). :o :) ;) :D Dang, I would have to report that haul, so I would spill the contents from the bowl into the field and pretend they were individual finds. LMAO :D Good idea, mate? ;) :D

Great find Crusader. I'd love to spend just one day in that field. ;D

You are not just on a role ,you are on a tidal wave!!

Thanks everyone.

If someone showed me that coin & told me they found it in a ploughed field. I would call them a liar. :-[

Great looking token Crusader, must be high quality silver! Even my 1700s coin are debased silver. HH, Mike

Liar! LMAO Are they that rare?

In this condition without cleaning other than water, yes. Not rare to buy as a collector though.
