1860 Indian Head "Fatty". Looks like someone tried to drill a hole through the back with something like a pocket knife, but gave up. Previously, my oldest was an 1867 Indian Head. This one's a bit toasted, but here in Minnesota, there aren't that many coins this old anyway. We had only been a state for two years prior to this being minted.

Nice old fatty Indian with the added character on the obverse. Also Congrats on your first 3 Merry Widows tin. I love those old tins. Party animals they were back in the day.:laughing9:

Nice, keep going. The stuff is waiting for us.

too fat for their pocketknife. how much you want to bet they dropped it while trying to put a hole in it and couldn't find it again?

Congrats on the IHP
Those Merry Widow Tins were designed to keep the contents from getting punctured. lol
Congratulations
