What is up Tnet:hello:

Just got my detector back from being fixed i snapped it in half a few weeks ago..

Got out to a cellar i had already been to but for some reason i had a feeling to go back:icon_scratch:

It was snowy and slushy but i ended up pulling this killer 1775 "Liberty" buckle and gave me the push to hit it hard.It was my first dig

I cannot find this particular buckle anywhere online but im sure its Revolutionary War related..I read something about a Albany regiment but no pics.So a positve ID is needed please..

Felt good to get out i also grabbed a childs toy pewter iron..Imagine that, this is what children played with:laughing7:

Colonial chape and a smoked like cheech and chong Largie..

Good luck out there:hello:

Omg JB! I am DYING to know more about that buckle. That thing is incredible and with the date....wow! Glad to see you back at it my man. I tried to hunt in 4" of snow today. Just a couple buttons but I found a couple of early cellar holes. Please please please keep me in the loop on that buckle man

Have no idea what that is but....I like it...I like it alot. I don't know how you guys do that snow hunting, I am spoiled with Fla weather where 50 is too cold for me.With sites like I see you getting into, I would probably get used to it though. Great Hunt.

Wow! That buckle is interesting. I know nothing of it, but it looks old...hopefully 1775 old! Hopefully someone can ID it for you.

Awesome finds and nice pics really enjoyed them. Congrats on the success.

It's cool whatever it is. It sure looks like some sort of buckle but for what? Great finds JB!

Awesome finds ! I might not have ever figured out that was a buckle.
Other finds are interesting too. I still get just as excited over the buttons !
Good hunt ! It'll be interesting to see if someone comes up with a definite on the Liberty pc.

Those relics better watch out now that you got your "GUN" back JB. That's a very odd buckle Bud. Never seen one like it. Great post & pics as usual. HH, Q.

Thanks for the comments everyone it's missing the right side loop i think..

I hope i can find a match.

It's $159 JB

I'm waiting on the big snow as well. But I'm def sending it in. I've heard that it totally eliminates all emi. A few of the F75 guys have had theirs done and are blown away at the difference. Run it wide open all the time. So I will def have it done. I have an F75 LTD now too so I will send that in eventually too. There's a couple other things like 4 tones of iron including the ability to mute it out.

Stunning buckle Johnny. :notworthy: Never saw anything like it, might be a "lifetime find"($$$$$). Your persistence digging in that kind of weather has paid off. I'm sure someone can ID it, there are some buckle experts on here. Congrats :hello2:....................Rich

Wow, That buckle is incredible, I love anything with a date on it, that is why I love to find coins lol, but the history behind that buckle is amazing, it looks like a patriotic revolutionary war piece.
